About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide in-home care for our elderly clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with seniors, a caring and patient personality, and the ability to assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Meal preparation and assistance with feeding
- Medication reminders and assistance with medication management
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship and conversationProviding skilled nursing care, including wound care and medication administration
Requirements
- Previous experience working with seniors in a care-giving role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
